"I’m late in submitting this review, but better late than never. I started looking to relocate from Fredericksburg to Richmond metro in the summer of 2020. While I was not a first-time home buyer, this was the first time I was doing it alone (I became a widow in 2012). So I really needed to be patiently guided through the process. I had loads of questions and Adam always took the time to explain everything in detail and with great composure. I purposely picked him because my first conversation with him really showed his knowledge and skill. I had already known ahead of time that I wanted someone young (I’m in my 60’s), because I appreciate and respect the fresh ideas and up-to-date knowledge of the housing market that you find in younger professionals. In some respects Adam seemed to know me better than I knew myself, and thus with his help I bought a beautiful house that every day feels more like home than any other house I’ve ever lived in. It’s also in a neighborhood that is friendly but not intrusive, and harkens back to simpler times. Things got a bit complicated when the seller decided she simply was not going to negotiate on any repairs, despite the house not being sold “as is.” The seller’s realtor was coincidentally also her grown daughter, and she likewise refused to negotiate. Without Adam’s professionalism, his attention to every detail and his staying on top of the situation, I seriously doubt that I would have continued my pursuit of this particular house. It took playing some serious “hardball” to get them to finally see reason, and in the end I got the house at an excellent price. Adam never wavered or backed down, and his intelligence and skill made all the difference in us finally reaching an agreement with the seller. I highly recommend Adam to anyone looking for a professional and highly knowledgeable realtor and broker who is up on the current status to the real estate market, has the patience of Job with anyone not familiar with the buying process, and has the freshest ideas when it comes to home buying, and this includes consideration of not just the house, but also general location, access, neighborhood, schools, etc. The fact that he’s also a genuinely nice man is an added bonus all too often lacking in professionals, young and old, these days."
